This role is for a Restaurant Manager who will oversee the overall operations of a Qdoba restaurant. The position is full-time and offers an annual salary range of $56,650 to $64,375. The manager is entrusted with the responsibility to uphold the brand’s core values, maintain a strong people and guest-centric culture, and lead the restaurant in consistently delivering outstanding guest service and food quality. This role requires making daily management decisions with discretion and accountability to help the restaurant thrive.

As a Restaurant Manager at Qdoba, you will manage employee training, performance coaching, and evaluations while ensuring that all training systems are implemented and followed thoroughly. Maximizing sales goals and participating in marketing programs will be key parts of your role, including oversight and partnership in increasing catering sales. You will ensure strict compliance with food safety procedures, managing inventory, and maintaining safe working conditions. Controlling food and labor costs is critical for maintaining profitability, alongside ensuring compliance with all state and federal labor laws and company policies.

You will be expected to lead by example, fostering an environment that encourages employee growth, reduces turnover, and promotes a positive, engaging workplace culture. Part of your responsibilities will include managing the full cycle of new hires, from interviewing and selection to thorough training. Problem anticipation and resolution will be crucial skills, along with continuously striving to improve the restaurant’s quality, service, and cleanliness standards.

Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of quick service restaurant (QSR) experience
  • Minimum 2 years in a leadership role
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift equipment and cases weighing approximately 10-50 lbs
  • Ability to speak and hear clearly on telephone and in person
  • Ability to operate a computer such as desktop or tablet
  • If opting to deliver catering orders, must have an operable personal cell phone and use it according to safety procedures
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must demonstrate effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years QSR experience with 2+ years in a leadership position

Job Duties

  • Maintain fast, accurate service, provide excellent customer service, and model restaurant hospitality responding to guest questions, concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure positive resolution and guest recovery
  • Trains, develops, coaches, and evaluates employee performance
  • ensures systems for training employees are fully implemented and followed
  • Maximize store sales goals versus budget, including participation in marketing programs
  • Oversee and partner on increasing catering sales
  • Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures
  • Work with the leadership team to meet sales goals
  • Manage food and labor costs
  • Execute company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
  • Monitor food inventory levels and order product when necessary
  • Manage and maintain safe working conditions
  • Manage employees in a manner that encourages them to grow with the company and reduce turnover
  • Focuses efforts on developing long term sales growth initiatives designed to drive profitable sales growth
  • Responsible for the new hire life cycle including the interview and selection process along with proper training
  • Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action
  • Ensure continual improvement of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Identifies and develops internal candidates for management and Shift Lead positions
