This opportunity is for a Restaurant Manager position at Qdoba, offering an annual salary range of $56,650 to $64,375. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of a Qdoba restaurant. This role requires a leader with strong management skills who can balance daily operational tasks with the strategic goal of driving profitability and enhancing guest satisfaction. The manager will play a key role in cultivating a positive culture focused on people and guests, ensuring that every team member lives the brand values and that the restaurant consistently delivers outstanding service and food quality. Duties include managing food safety and cleanliness standards, training and developing employees, maintaining labor and food costs, and implementing company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all state and federal labor laws. The role demands a proactive leader comfortable with fast-paced environments and capable of addressing challenges swiftly through effective problem-solving and communication skills.

The position also involves responsibilities such as increasing catering sales, working with the leadership team to meet and exceed sales goals, and managing new hire processes from interviewing to onboarding. The role requires a valid driver’s license and physical stamina to lift equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds and interact effectively with guests and staff.

  • If delivering catering orders, must have an operable personal cell phone and use it to track order departures and completion per safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Maintain fast, accurate service, provide excellent customer service, and model restaurant hospitality responding to guest questions, concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure positive resolution and guest recovery
  • Train, develop, coach, and evaluate employee performance
  • ensure systems for training employees are fully implemented and followed
  • Maximize store sales goals versus budget, including participation in marketing programs
  • Oversee and partner on increasing catering sales
  • Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures
  • Work with the leadership team to meet sales goals
  • Manage food and labor costs
