The role of Restaurant General Manager at QDOBA encompasses the overall management and smooth operation of a QDOBA restaurant. This position is responsible for not only preserving the company’s brand values but also leading the team to success through excellent guest service, food quality, and operational excellence. The General Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining a people- and guest-centric culture that promotes employee development, ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, and meets sales goals. This is a full-time position offering an annual salary between $56,650 and $64,375. The successful candidate will be expected to lead by example, delivering fast and accurate service, coaching and evaluating staff, managing food and labor costs efficiently, and overseeing catering sales initiatives. Additionally, the General Manager must ensure a safe working environment and strive for continual improvement in quality, service, and cleanliness.

Daily responsibilities include managing employee performance through effective training and coaching programs, handling guest questions and concerns with professionalism, and driving profitable sales growth by participating in marketing efforts. The General Manager will be instrumental in recruiting, hiring, and retaining talented employees while reducing turnover by fostering a positive and motivating workplace environment. This role also involves close collaboration with the leadership team to meet and exceed sales targets, monitoring inventory levels and placing orders when needed, and ensuring strict adherence to company policies and labor laws. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • 5+ years quick service restaurant experience
  • 2+ years in a leadership position
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift equipment and cases of product weighing approximately 10-50 lbs
  • Must be able to speak and hear clearly on the telephone and in person
  • Must be able to operate a computer, i.e., desktop, tablet, etc.
  • If delivering catering orders, must have an operable personal cell phone and follow company safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Maintain fast, accurate service, provide excellent customer service, and model restaurant hospitality responding to guest questions, concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure positive resolution and guest recovery
  • Train, develop, coach, and evaluate employee performance
  • ensure systems for training employees are fully implemented and followed
  • Maximize store sales goals versus budget, including participation in marketing programs
  • Oversee and partner on increasing catering sales
  • Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures
  • Work with the leadership team to meet sales goals
  • Manage food and labor costs
  • Execute company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
  • Monitor food inventory levels and order product when necessary
  • Manage and maintain safe working conditions
  • Manage employees in a manner that encourages them to grow with the company and reduce turnover
  • Focus efforts on developing long term sales growth initiatives designed to drive profitable sales growth
  • Responsible for the new hire life cycle including the interview and selection process along with proper training
  • Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action
  • Ensure continual improvement of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Identify and develop internal candidates for management and Shift Lead positions
