The role of Restaurant Manager at QDOBA is pivotal to continuing this tradition of success. This full-time position offers an annual pay range between $56,650 and $64,375 and demands a seasoned leadership professional eager to manage the day-to-day operations of a QDOBA restaurant. The Restaurant Manager is entrusted with fostering a people and guest-centric culture that emphasizes exceptional guest service, consistent food quality, and adherence to all safety and regulatory standards. This includes making strategic decisions daily while embodying the company’s brand values and operational excellence.

The manager will lead a dedicated team, responsible for training, coaching, and developing employees to enhance their skills and grow their careers within the company. They will oversee critical aspects such as food safety compliance, labor and food cost management, and driving sales growth through targeted marketing and catering initiatives. The role requires an effective communicator and problem solver capable of responding professionally to guest concerns while maintaining a positive working environment that prioritizes employee growth and retention.

Key responsibilities extend to maintaining operational standards in cleanliness, service quality, and safety, while also managing inventory and ensuring compliance with all labor laws at the federal and state levels. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and capable of handling the new hire lifecycle from recruitment to training and ongoing staff evaluation. This manager position is not only about maintaining present standards but also about initiating long-term sales growth strategies and identifying emerging leaders for future management roles. Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years QSR experience with 2+ years in a leadership position
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift equipment and cases of product weighing approximately 10-50 lbs
  • Must be able to speak and hear clearly on the telephone and in person
  • Must be able to operate a computer, i.e., desktop, tablet, etc
  • Have an operable personal cell phone if delivering catering orders
  • Use personal cell phone to track (via app or text) when departing the restaurant with a catering order and upon delivery completion, following company safety procedures (no device usage while actively driving)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years QSR experience with 2+ years in a leadership position
  • Excellent prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated and organized
  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to recruit, hire, coach, train and motivate employees
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Job Duties

  • Maintain fast, accurate service, provide excellent customer service, and model restaurant hospitality responding to guest questions, concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure positive resolution and guest recovery
  • Trains, develops, coaches, and evaluates employee performance
  • ensures systems for training employees are fully implemented and followed
  • Maximize store sales goals versus budget, including participation in marketing programs
  • Oversee and partner on increasing catering sales
  • Train, monitor, and reinforce food safety procedures
  • Work with the leadership team to meet sales goals
  • Manage food and labor costs
  • Execute company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all state and federal labor laws and regulations
  • Monitor food inventory levels and order product when necessary
  • Manage and maintain safe working conditions
  • Manage employees in a manner that encourages them to grow with the company and reduce turnover
  • Focuses efforts on developing long term sales growth initiatives designed to drive profitable sales growth
  • Responsible for the new hire life cycle including the interview and selection process along with proper training
  • Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action
  • Ensure continual improvement of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Identifies and develops internal candidates for management and shift lead positions
