Job Requirements

  • Four year degree or equivalent work experience in hospitality
  • Minimum of three years as General Manager or equivalent in luxury hotel environment
  • Experience in luxury Rooms Division leadership
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work full-time hospitality schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Familiarity with Hilton property management systems preferred
  • Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
  • Must have strong integrity, professionalism, and ethics
  • Local to Santa Monica or familiar with LA luxury market preferred

Job Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in hotel management, hospitality, tourism, or related field, or equivalent work experience in the hospitality industry
  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a General Manager or equivalent in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or resort, preferably 5-star
  • Strong expertise in Rooms Division operations
  • Proven leadership ability with a hands-on management style
  • Familiarity with Hilton systems such as OnQ, R&I, GRO preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High emotional intelligence and guest service orientation

Job Duties

  • Lead the Rooms Division operations including valet, bell, front desk, housekeeping, and engineering/maintenance
  • Ensure the highest standards of housekeeping and room perfection daily
  • Manage guest experience from arrival through departure to deliver exceptional, personalized service
  • Oversee facilities and engineering to maintain impeccable property conditions
  • Develop and inspire a passionate, accountable leadership team and hotel staff
  • Drive financial performance through effective labor cost control and budgeting
  • Maintain compliance with hotel policies and brand standards while fostering a positive hotel culture
