Job Requirements
- College degree in business, logistics or management
- 5-8 years in warehousing and/or logistics management or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years general supervisory/management experience
- Ability to develop effective relationships and provide leadership
- Experience with AS/400 and Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and Radio Frequency technology
- Ability to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
- Experience within food distribution or cold storage
- Reasonable physical ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, sit regularly, talk or hear, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds

- Ability to interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals
- Experience within food distribution or cold storage sectors
Job Duties
- Manage all warehouse functions including operations, transportation, personnel and customer service as directed by Director of Operations
- Develop annual facility budget and ensure group adherence to budget
- Direct and assign work, set performance objectives and monitor performance of all warehouse departments
- Manage all warehouse activities, costs, operations and forecasts
- Monitor progress towards goals
- Provide a safe work environment through personal actions
- Identify any safety concerns and cost saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and Federal, State and Local OSHA regulations
- Negotiate labor contracts with union representatives and implement desired changes
- Affect prevention or reduction of property, liability or personnel loss exposure for the Company
- Ensure care, custody and control procedures are in place
- Monitor operational performance
- Utilize Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) related to planning daily facility requirements
- Complete CIP monthly reports
- Promote an open door policy and team environment
- Support the Company Performance Management Program (PMP)
