Job Requirements

  • Experience as a supervisor or unit-level manager in high volume airline lounge or multi-unit F&B operations
  • Ability to manage teams and delegate tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledge of HMSHost service and operation standards
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and spoken
  • Commitment to uphold company policies and maintain high customer service standards

Job Qualifications

  • Three to five years of supervisory or management experience in airline lounge or multi-unit food and beverage operations
  • Proven team management and delegation skills
  • Ability to resolve issues effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of company policies, product, service, quality, equipment, and operational standards
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in coaching and developing staff
  • Understanding of quality assurance and loss prevention practices

Job Duties

  • Manage day to day activities of associates and assign responsibilities to ensure lounge operations
  • Ensure lounge is staffed appropriately, clean, inventory levels are maintained, and equipment is functional
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, service, ambiance, and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and coach staff to uphold airline and HMSHost service standards
  • Oversee operational results to maximize guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, and financial outcomes
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve operational performance
  • Maintain quality control records and ensure compliance with quality assurance and loss prevention policies
  • Communicate effectively to maintain positive associate relations, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
  • Partner with senior directors and various departments to ensure product specifications and cost controls are met
