Job Description

We are a newly opening hotel restaurant located in the bustling city of Atlanta, GA, poised to become a premier destination for guests seeking exceptional dining experiences paired with top-tier hospitality. Our establishment is designed to blend the warm ambiance of a boutique hotel restaurant with the efficiency and vibrancy of a full-service food and beverage operation. As a fresh entity in Atlanta's dynamic hospitality scene, we aim to build a reputation for outstanding service, quality cuisine, and memorable guest experiences from the ground up.

At the heart of our establishment is our commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and innovation among our team members, ensuring that every guest interaction is handled with care and professionalism. With multiple outlets including a restaurant, bar, café, and in-room dining services, our operation offers a diverse and exciting environment for both our guests and staff. The workplace atmosphere encourages creativity, teamwork, and continuous improvement, making it an ideal setting for professionals passionate about hospitality and guest satisfaction.

We are currently seeking a dedicated, hands-on General Manager to lead our small but growing team. This full-time, salaried position offers an annual pay range of $65,000 to $75,000 and is perfect for a self-driven individual who thrives in a startup-style environment. The ideal candidate must be comfortable navigating both high-level leadership responsibilities and the fine details of day-to-day operational management.

In this pivotal role, the General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage operations. This includes managing the restaurant, bar, café, and in-room dining services to ensure seamless service delivery and operational efficiency. A core element of the role involves building strong systems, cultivating a positive team culture, and establishing robust service standards that align with our brand promise. The General Manager will be entrusted with the critical task of shaping our service protocols, training programs, and operational workflows that set us apart in the competitive hospitality landscape.

The position demands a proactive leader who can handle opening and closing procedures, manage the floor during peak service times, and troubleshoot any real-time operational challenges such as staffing gaps, service delays, or inventory shortages. Leadership extends beyond daily management to include the onboarding and continuous development of staff, ensuring that every team member is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed for success. Regular performance feedback and coaching will be vital components of fostering a high-achieving team environment.

Financial acumen is essential, as the General Manager will oversee labor cost controls, scheduling, payroll accuracy, inventory management, vendor relations, and cost efficiency strategies. This includes tracking key performance indicators such as sales and labor percentages and providing insightful reports to senior leadership. Additionally, the General Manager will play an instrumental role in engaging directly with guests to enhance their experience, professionally address concerns, and promote guest loyalty.

Safety and compliance are paramount. The successful candidate will ensure all operations comply with Atlanta's health department regulations and local food safety standards, maintaining meticulous records and upholding sanitation practices throughout the property.

Joining our team means being part of a high-visibility role with significant impact and opportunity for growth within a multi-location hospitality group. The position offers a unique chance to build and shape a new operation from inception, offering rewarding challenges and the satisfaction of contributing to a successful and dynamic hospitality venture.
