Job Requirements
- College degree in hospitality management or related field
- Minimum 10 years hospitality industry experience
- At least 5 years of management experience
- Must have valid Food Handler Certificate
- Knowledge of computer applications including MS Word and MS Excel
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- ServSafe certification
- Flexible schedule
- Strong leadership abilities
- Ability to manage budgeting and personnel
- Understanding of safety rules and operational standards
Job Qualifications
- College degree in hospitality management or acceptable industry experience
- Minimum of 10 years in hospitality with 5 years management experience
- Excellent communication skills with customers and employees
- Knowledge of computer applications including MS Word, MS Excel and restaurant applications
- Complete understanding of creating and performing to operating budgets
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
- Knowledge and experience in restaurant management
- Positive interpersonal skills
- Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge
- Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays
- Flexible schedule helpful
- Valid Food Handler Certificate
Job Duties
- Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant achieving defined organizational results
- Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs including food, beverage, supply, utility and labor costs
- Responsible for ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance
- Ensure consistent high quality of food preparation and service and compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws and ordinances
- Maintain professional restaurant image including cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
- Estimate food and beverage costs and work with corporate office staff for provisioning and purchasing
- Supervise portion control and minimize waste
- Estimate food needs, place orders with distributors, and schedule deliveries
- Must be ServSafe certified and uphold all ServSafe guidelines
- Ensure proper security procedures to protect employees, guests and assets
- Ensure a safe working and guest environment and complete accident reports promptly
- Manage shifts including scheduling, planning, and upholding standards
- Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service
- Provide operational direction to employees
- Interview, hire, supervise, develop and if necessary terminate employees
- Conduct training and oversee orientation
- Develop employees through feedback and performance reviews
- Maintain accurate staffing plans and schedules
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Attend mandatory meetings
- Perform cross-training and other assigned duties
- Maintain dress code and complete required training
- Adhere to consistent work schedule
- Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity
- Perform duties safely
- Other duties as assigned
