This opportunity is for a Restaurant Manager role at Papa John's, a key leadership position within the organization. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing all restaurant functions to ensure that high-quality products and excellent customer service are consistently delivered, ultimately driving restaurant profitability. Staffing and team development are critical components of this role; this involves recruiting, training, orienting, and motivating team members to exceed customer expectations, maintaining uniform and appearance standards, and conducting performance evaluations. Financial stewardship is another essential aspect of the role, requiring management of sales and profit goals against budgets and previous years’ performance. The manager uses tools like the PROFIT System to monitor and control food, labor, and other costs and devises plans to correct any unfavorable trends. Administrative and cash management duties are integral, along with inventory management using computerized systems to balance stock levels against sales while minimizing losses.
The Restaurant Manager also oversees the physical and operational conditions of the restaurant, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance of equipment, safety, and security standards are met consistently. Leadership competencies such as critical thinking, customer focus, team development, flexibility, initiative, and execution management are vital to successful performance. Job Qualifications
