This opportunity is for a Location Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations at a specified location to drive maximum sales and profitability. This leadership role requires managing professional and retail sales, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will expertly navigate daily operational challenges, utilizing online reporting systems to monitor performance data and control inventory levels efficiently. A critical part of the role includes leading recruitment, hiring, and training efforts aimed at reducing employee turnover and fostering a productive workforce. The manager will motivate employees, train successor management, and administer wage and salary reviews along with performance objectives.
In addition to these operational duties, the Location Manager will recommend capital improvements based on demand forecasts and equipment efficiency, implement cost-effective maintenance programs, and report on obsolete equipment or facilities while suggesting necessary replacements or upgrades. Safety is paramount, and the manager will actively support company safety initiatives to comply with OSHA and DOT regulations. The role also entails enforcing company policies, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, and acting as a liaison between employees and management to maintain a healthy work environment.
Customer satisfaction is a focus, with the manager obtaining feedback and ensuring service quality. Budget accountability is another key component, involving establishing cost standards, operating budgets, and inventory targets while monitoring expenses and innovating ways to enhance financial performance. The manager will supervise multiple subordinate supervisors across various departments, managing all aspects of employee lifecycle including interviewing, hiring, training, work planning, performance appraisal, rewards and discipline, and conflict resolution, in compliance with organizational policies and relevant laws. Job Requirements
