Job Description
Wingstop is a dynamic and rapidly growing restaurant franchise that has been delighting customers since 1994 with its unique and irresistible flavor experience. Specializing in fresh, made-to-order chicken wings, Wingstop prides itself on delivering great food coupled with exceptional customer service. The company operates a network of restaurants that are known for their bold flavors and inviting atmosphere, making each visit a memorable experience for guests. Their mission is clear and focused: to serve the world flavor with great food and even better service. This dedication to quality and customer satisfaction has positioned Wingstop as a leader in the fast-casual dining sector, consistently attracting both loyal patrons and new visitors alike.
Wingstop is currently seeking a dedicated General Manager for their Murrieta, CA location to lead operational success and uphold the high standards of the brand. This is a full-time position offering a competitive wage of $25 per hour, with compliance to all applicable wage laws. The General Manager will be the driving force behind the restaurant’s daily operations, ensuring a well-organized, efficient, and customer-focused environment. The role demands leadership excellence as the General Manager will be responsible for energizing the team, fostering a positive and motivated workplace culture, and delivering an outstanding guest experience from start to finish. They will own every aspect of the restaurant’s four walls, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, food safety, and financial performance.
As the face of the restaurant, the General Manager will set the standard for flavor, service, and success. This involves managing sales, controlling labor and food costs, and finding innovative ways to maximize profitability while maintaining Wingstop’s signature bold energy and fast-paced service environment. The Manager will also focus on team development and training, helping employees reach their full potential and consistently meet performance goals. This position requires someone who can stay calm under pressure, think on their feet, and turn challenges into opportunities. Additionally, maintaining cleanliness, service excellence, and operational standards is critical to the role.
The General Manager at Wingstop must be flexible with their availability, including working nights, weekends, and holidays. They are expected to maintain a strong presence during key business hours through a typical weekly schedule that includes opening, closing, and mid-day shifts. Responsible for submitting timely weekly schedules in line with company policies and labor laws, the General Manager ensures not only the smooth operation of the restaurant but also compliance with all regulations. The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay active throughout the shift through tasks such as stocking, unloading deliveries, and managing equipment. Wingstop values diversity and equality, being an equal opportunity employer committed to fair compensation and respectful work environments.
