The role of the General Manager within Guest Services is pivotal to the success of each operational unit. This position commands comprehensive responsibility for overseeing all facets of unit operations and floor management. This includes managing staff, food and beverage services, equipment, and ensuring the property meets company standards all aimed at achieving financial goals and fulfilling corporate initiatives. The General Manager actively cultivates a team environment that supports exceptional customer service, guiding the management team and all staff to perform consistently at high standards. They play a central role in motivating employees, establishing accountability, and steering the unit to meet and exceed success metrics. Key functions of this role include planning, developing, and directing daily operations with a keen ability to forecast and analyze sales, labor, and profit margins while adhering to budgetary constraints.

In this capacity, the General Manager is responsible for scheduling and supervising operational duties, recruiting and training staff, managing accounting records including daily reporting and cash control, handling profit and loss statements, and directly responding to customer inquiries and complaints. Ensuring the safety and sanitation of the facility is paramount, involving maintenance of equipment, food production protocols, cleanliness standards, employee hygiene, and overall regulatory compliance. Communication with the District Manager on unusual events or safety concerns is a critical component, alongside serving as the company’s official point of contact with clients. Job Requirements
