Job Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent education
  • Minimum three years experience in hotel management or related field
  • Prior experience in sales, events or hospitality preferred
  • Must be service oriented with excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Energetic and outgoing personality
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to follow directions accurately
  • Team player able to work independently
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be willing to travel as needed
  • Availability to work primarily Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with occasional weekends or holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years experience as Executive Assistant Manager and/or Resident Manager
  • Experience in all phases of hotel management including sales and marketing
  • College degree or equivalent education in hotel business
  • Knowledge of hotel operations including marketing plans and budget forecasting
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop staff
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Opera preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Energetic and outgoing
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
  • Team player with ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with basic financial information and solve arithmetic problems
  • Typing speed of 45 wpm
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Job Duties

  • Perform administrative duties including setting goals and improving performance
  • Oversee and coordinate forecasts and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Interview, hire, supervise and counsel department heads and supervisors
  • Conduct daily property inspections and monitor quality of services
  • Travel for corporate meetings, sales trips and committees
  • Develop and maintain marketing and sales efforts to increase occupancy and revenue
