Job Description

Schulte Hospitality Group (SHG) and Craftsman Inn & Suites are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and service-oriented General Manager to join their dedicated team. The General Manager role is critical in upholding the company’s commitment to exceptional service and operational excellence. This leadership position revolves around managing hotel operations to ensure financial success while delivering an extraordinary guest experience. The General Manager will be responsible for managing budgets, overseeing expenditures, and maintaining financial and statistical records. This role involves setting and achieving sales and profit targets to drive the property’s performance. The General Manager will recruit, train, and supervise staff, carefully planning their schedules to optimize productivity and morale. They will respond appropriately to guest concerns and troubleshoot problems promptly to ensure smooth operations throughout the hotel.

Additional responsibilities include coordinating and managing events and conferences, maintaining the property’s physical assets through supervision of maintenance, renovations, supplies, and furnishings, and fostering strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and suppliers. The General Manager also ensures adherence to brand standards, compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and all statutory requirements. Creating a safe and secure environment for both guests and associates remains a top priority.

This role deserves a leader with excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to guide teams. Candidates should be detail-oriented, financially savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office, and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
