The General Manager role at SHG is a pivotal leadership position designed for an individual who embodies the company's service culture and dedication to operational excellence. This full-time role demands a dynamic, proactive professional responsible for overseeing daily operations of hospitality properties with a focus on financial performance, team leadership, guest satisfaction, and brand compliance. The successful candidate will manage budgets, control expenses, and maintain statistical and financial records, ensuring sales and profit targets are not only met but exceeded.
Central to the General Manager's responsibilities is team development: recruiting, training, and supervising staff while effectively planning work schedules to maximize productivity. The role also involves addressing and resolving guest concerns promptly to maintain the highest service standards. Ensuring seamless execution of events and conferences, supervising maintenance and renovations to preserve the asset's value, and managing vendor and contractor relationships are additional key facets of this position.
