This particular opportunity is for a General Manager/Chef Manager position located in Overland, KS, within the corporate dining sector of Sodexo. The role involves leading a streamlined and welcoming corporate dining program that includes managing a café with three food stations serving breakfast and lunch, overseeing catering operations, managing a micro-market, and supervising office coffee services (OCS). As the GM/Chef Manager, you will be the top on-site leader responsible for owning the program end-to-end. The role encompasses both hands-on culinary duties (approximately 70%) and administrative leadership (around 30%). You will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, oversee financial management including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, drive menu planning and inventory management, and ensure quality execution in catering production. The role also involves managing and motivating a small team of four hourly employees while handling HR responsibilities such as scheduling, payroll, and training.
