The Restaurant Manager role at Caesars Entertainment's Flamingo Las Vegas is a dynamic and integral position focused on overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant outlet. The successful candidate will spearhead efforts to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by fostering genuine relationships with guests and supporting staff in providing world-class service. This leadership role involves coordinating with the Food and Beverage Operations Director to develop innovative strategies aimed at maximizing revenue while controlling costs efficiently. Additionally, ensuring compliance with local health department regulations and maintaining a high-grade standard is a key responsibility of this position.
The Restaurant Manager will be expected to lead by example by demonstrating the Spotlight 5 behaviors, providing coaching and feedback to enhance team performance, and utilizing analytic tools such as Avero to assess business trends and employee productivity. They will facilitate team meetings, implement departmental policies, and manage employee morale to create a positive and productive work environment. This role requires someone with extensive experience in a high-volume food and beverage setting who possesses strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. With the assistant restaurant manager reporting directly to them, they are entrusted with the responsibility to uphold the Flamingo's reputation for performance excellence and guest satisfaction.

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree preferred
- Minimum five years of high-volume food and beverage experience
- Minimum three years supervisory experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Proficiency in Point of Sales systems such as Micros and Infogenesis
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to act quickly and exercise good judgment under pressure
- Knowledge of current PC software including word processing and spreadsheets
Job Duties
- Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by building guest relationships and resolving complaints
- Develops ideas to maximize revenue and reduce expenses with the Food and Beverage Operations Director
- Ensures restaurant and bar compliance with Health Department Regulations and maintains "A" grade
- Maximizes employee morale through leading by example and providing tools and support for world class service
- Conducts individual and team coaching sessions and uses the Harrah's coaching cycle for feedback
- Follows and enhances departmental and restaurant specific policies, procedures, and sequence of service
- Performs additional duties as requested by the Food and Beverage Director
