Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in bar or hospitality management
- strong leadership and team management skills
- proven experience in opening new bar or restaurant concepts
- knowledge of local liquor laws and health regulations
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- ability to solve problems efficiently
- experience with POS systems, preferably Toast
- ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in the bar or hospitality industry
- strong, proactive leadership and team-building skills
- expertise in menu planning, vendor negotiations, and inventory management
- Toast POS experience a plus
- a strong work ethic, attention to detail, exceptional multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- knowledge of local liquor laws, health regulations, and compliance requirements
- familiarity with marketing and promotional strategies is a plus
Job Duties
- Develop and implement operational systems
- create a well-balanced drink menu
- recruit, hire, and train staff to create a cohesive team
- oversee the physical setup of the bar and source inventory with vendors
- lead daily operations, including employee management
- ensure the bar consistently delivers exceptional customer experiences
- monitor sales performance and oversee inventory management
- drive innovation and adapt to feedback to refine operations and menu offerings
- take initiative as the primary problem-solver for any operational challenges
- manage food cart leases
