Each location operates under strict adherence to food safety regulations and hospitality standards to ensure guest satisfaction and safety. The company values leadership that drives sales growth, employee retention, and operational excellence, preparing it for continued expansion and customer loyalty. Big City Wings employs individuals who are passionate about delivering top-notch guest service while maintaining a clean and inviting environment for every patron.
The managerial role at Big City Wings is critical for the achievement of company objectives related to sales, service quality, employee leadership, and operational standards. Reporting to a Regional Supervisor, Director of Operations, or Owner, the manager is entrusted with overseeing the comprehensive operations of the restaurant. This includes planning, organizing, staffing, training, and providing leadership necessary to meet and exceed set targets in sales, costs, guest satisfaction, and food quality. The manager must ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including health and fire codes, alcohol service laws, and labor regulations to maintain a safe and lawful operation.
Key responsibilities involve delegating tasks effectively, monitoring staff performance, and enforcing restaurant policies timely and consistently. The role demands sharp attention to detail in overseeing food preparation standards, portion control, presentation, and adherence to sanitation guidelines. Additionally, the manager handles financial duties such as controlling cash receipts, bank deposits, reviewing financial reports, and managing budgets and payroll. Inventory control, scheduling, training programs, and conflict resolution form essential parts of the daily operations, promoting a positive and productive working environment.
Furthermore, the manager facilitates marketing efforts by planning and executing promotions, coordinating catering services, and enhancing the restaurant’s game day atmosphere during special events like the Super Bowl or playoffs. Effective communication with the team and upper management via various channels is vital for maintaining operational consistency and employee development. The position requires physical stamina to perform some food preparation or service tasks and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Working at Big City Wings means being part of a dynamic team focused on delivering an outstanding guest experience while developing managerial and leadership skills. The manager plays a key role in fostering a cohesive team, upholding the company mission, and ensuring operational success across all locations. The position offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for individuals eager to contribute to a growing restaurant brand and take ownership of their work areas while working a flexible schedule including all days of the week and holidays.
