Job Description
Sonsray is a leading dealership specializing in the construction, transportation, and agricultural industries. Sonsray is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to lead the operations of its Agriculture dealership located at 19474 Industry Parkway Drive, Bakersfield, CA. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $105,000 to $115,000 annually, plus bonus opportunities based on experience. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of dealership operations including sales, service, parts management, new equipment sales, store performance, and overall profitability. The role demands a strategic leader who can drive market growth, strengthen customer relationships, and ensure best-in-class service delivery across all departments within the agricultural equipment sector.
In this pivotal role, the General Manager will drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding market penetration while strengthening service and parts operations to enhance customer satisfaction and retention. They will lead and mentor department managers in parts, service, and sales, promoting a high-performance culture aligned with company goals, safety standards, and operational efficiency. This position requires a hands-on leader who can manage full profit and loss responsibilities, develop and oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, and maintain positive relationships with key accounts, growers, manufacturers, vendor partners, and internal teams. Compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational guidelines is critical.

Job Requirements
- Must have minimum 5 years experience managing sales, service, and parts operations in an agricultural, construction, or equipment dealership environment
- Proven track record in business development and market growth with measurable results
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, and lead high-performing teams
- Solid understanding of financial metrics, forecasting, and P&L management
- Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license required for company driving
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, industry events, and other store locations as needed

Job Duties
- Lead the parts and service managers and sales department in a collaborative, high-performance environment
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring alignment with company goals, processes, and safety standards
- Recruit, mentor, and develop employees to support long-term departmental and company success
- Monitor store performance metrics and implement corrective action plans when necessary
- Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and increasing market penetration within the agricultural equipment market
- Strengthen service and parts operations to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and operational efficiency
- Build, support, and grow the new and used equipment sales department to expand overall market share
- Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, growers, and agricultural customers through regular visits and engagement
- Manage full P&L responsibilities for the dealership and drive profitability across all departments
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics
- Review customer receivables and ensure compliance with company accounts receivable and collection policies
- Maintain positive, professional relationships with internal teams, other store locations, manufacturers, and vendor partners
- Ensure all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations are followed consistently
- Comply with all equipment and safety regulations and operate vehicles within prescribed limits
- Perform other duties as assigned to support dealership goals
