Job Description

Lucky Strike Entertainment, formerly known as Bowlero Corp, is a leader in the location-based entertainment industry with over 360 venues across North America. The company specializes in providing unique and immersive experiences that range from bowling and arcade amusements to water parks and family entertainment centers. As an entertainment platform, Lucky Strike Entertainment is dedicated to delivering fun, excitement, and memorable moments for guests of all ages. Alongside its vast network of entertainment centers, the company owns the Professional Bowlers Association, which is the major league of bowling and a growing media entity captivating millions of fans worldwide. This affiliation enhances the brand's prominence in the bowling and entertainment sectors. The organization values dynamic, high-energy environments where customer experience and team collaboration take center stage. Lucky Strike Entertainment offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $70,000 per year for its General Manager roles, accompanied by performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare coverage among other perks.

The General Manager position at Lucky Strike Entertainment is an exceptionally engaging role ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, multifaceted work settings. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership and operational oversight that spans entertainment management, food and beverage sales, and the upkeep of the property and its equipment. The General Manager must be on their feet, managing multiple team members and swiftly solving challenges as they emerge, ensuring every guest enjoys a premium experience. Integral to the role is the cultivation of an enthusiastic and efficient team atmosphere, fostering a professional yet fun workplace culture. These leaders are responsible for developing and monitoring financial plans and budgets, with a keen focus on driving food and beverage sales while controlling labor costs and other expenses. They manage daily center operations including scheduling, organization, and effective communication.

Moreover, General Managers oversee training to maintain staff proficiency in guest service and corporate standards, and they supervise a team that may include Assistant General Managers, Facility Managers, Kitchen Managers, and Event Managers. Regular performance reviews and meetings enable the General Manager to provide direction and adjust strategies based on profit and loss assessments. Maintaining high morale and addressing any HR or security issues promptly are also key aspects of leadership in this role. Customer satisfaction stands as the highest priority, with General Managers ensuring that guest concerns are promptly and effectively resolved. Furthermore, they drive the expansion and quality of the food and beverage program, ensuring consistent implementation of corporate initiatives to promote sales growth. Flexibility is vital, as the role requires working varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended days as business needs dictate.

Candidates suited for this role will bring significant management experience in full-service restaurant or bar environments, strong business acumen to understand and utilize financial data, and excellent interpersonal skills to build cohesive teams. The environment requires physical stamina, as standing, walking, bending, and assisting with lifting are common. This role is a unique opportunity to combine a passion for entertainment and hospitality with operational leadership at one of the premier experiential brands in the industry, making it an ideal career choice for energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused professionals.
