California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) is a renowned restaurant and food services company with a rich history dating back to 1985. The position offered is a key leadership role focused on managing front-of-house (FOH) operations within a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Candidates will be responsible for team building, talent development, and cross-training to promote career growth and ensure exceptional culinary and service execution. Financial stewardship is a core responsibility, including managing the restaurant’s profit and loss statements, forecasting budgets, adjusting labor costs, controlling portions, and meeting set financial objectives. Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with employees, guests, suppliers, and senior management, supporting an efficient and inviting environment. Maintaining safety and sanitation standards is vital to protect the health of employees and guests. Job Requirements
- minimum of two years foh management experience in a high volume, faced paced restaurant
- strong communication skills - verbal and written
- exceptional leadership skills - ability to motivate, inspire and develop a team
- passionate about execution, hospitality and service
- ability to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours a day
- occasionally required to stoop, bend or kneel
- ability to lift up to 40 lbs
