Job Requirements

  • Ability to work a 40+ hour week
  • At least 18 years of age with a valid driver license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout shifts
  • Ability to work in walk-in refrigerator and freezer environments ranging from 40°F to -10°F
  • Willingness to coach and task-manage employees
  • Ability to handle fast-paced and high stress situations
  • Organize and establish priorities with minimal supervision

Job Qualifications

  • Jimmy John Manager Certification
  • ServSafe Manager Certification
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to perform assistant manager, PIC, in-shopper, and delivery driver roles
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee all in-store operations including staffing and scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage inventory control and stock ordering
  • Monitor and manage cost of goods sold (COGS)
  • Handle cash management and cash handling procedures
  • Maintain brand compliance and quality standards
  • Train, teach, and coach employees on operational duties
  • Organize and prioritize store tasks with minimal supervision
  • Manage fast-paced and high-stress situations efficiently
