The General Manager plays a pivotal role within HVMG's operational structure. This leadership position involves overseeing all facets of hotel management, including driving performance, enhancing guest satisfaction, and fostering meaningful team engagement. The General Manager is responsible for supervising various departments, managing budgets, and implementing effective strategies to meet both financial and service objectives. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, this role is a significant contributor to ensuring the hotel's overall success, prosperity, and top-tier reputation.

In this role, the General Manager serves as the driving force behind the hotel’s operational excellence, ensuring the property delivers exceptional guest experiences consistently. Daily responsibilities include managing staff effectively, overseeing budget adherence, and maintaining profitability. Full-service experience, particularly within Hilton or similar upscale environments, is highly preferred, as is experience turning around guest satisfaction scores. Job Requirements

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and lift as required, with or without reasonable accommodations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field, highly preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of hotel general manager experience, required
  • experience in full service hotel operations
  • Hilton experience, highly preferred
  • experience with guest satisfaction score (GSS) turnaround, highly preferred
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules
