The available position of General Manager at Stars and Strikes is a full-time leadership role that involves overseeing overall operations of a high-volume entertainment center. This managerial role is critical to the success of the location, encompassing responsibilities such as managing bowling alley activities, food and beverage services, and arcade operations. The General Manager plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, controlling costs, and maintaining exceptional guest service standards.
Candidates considered for this leadership opportunity should have at least two years of experience in general management, preferably within hospitality or food and beverage sectors. The position requires an energetic, outgoing individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to dive deep into the multifaceted aspects of the business. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays according to business demands is essential. The General Manager will also be responsible for managing a salaried leadership team of 8 to 10 members and a large frontline staff of 120 to 150 hourly employees, ensuring teamwork and service excellence throughout the center.
Key responsibilities include setting location-specific goals to support corporate objectives, overseeing adherence to operational standards, managing financial performance including labor costs and payroll, and leading promotional initiatives such as league sales, seasonal campaigns, and restaurant offerings. A strong financial acumen with experience analyzing profit and loss statements and implementing upselling strategies is important. This role requires effective training and development of department managers and frontline staff to uphold company standards in product quality and guest satisfaction.
