Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Must have five or more years of hospitality experience
  • Must have previous experience in a manager role overseeing a team preferably in hospitality
  • Must have superb communication skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Guest-focused with exceptional customer service experience
  • Must be Marriott qualified
  • Must have Marriott GM experience

Job Duties

  • Construct and manage a straightforward and effective marketing strategy to promote the hotel's services and amenities
  • Provide the vision, leadership, and strategy that inspires your staff to deliver exceptional guest service that drives financial success
  • Facilitate strategic planning, objectives, and a timetable of action for hotel department leaders that meets overall hotel goals
  • Generate a budget that ensures guest satisfaction and quality of services while also keeping costs balanced and profit margins maximized
  • Enhance the hotel's reputation for quality by inspecting the cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms, public areas, and surrounding grounds
  • Oversee HR matters including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, coaching/counseling, and performance management
