The Restaurant General Manager role at Krystal is pivotal to the success of each location. Job Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years management experience
- Excellent people leadership and guest service skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and above restaurant leaders
- Ability to resolve issues in compliance with Krystal standards
- Available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Create a great energy in the restaurant and set the team up for success

- Coach and motivate Shift Leaders, Assistant Managers and the team
- Recruit and develop top grade talent

- Serve those they lead through behaviors, actions and decisions
- Serve as a role model to create WOW guest experiences
- Set clear expectations and create a welcoming work environment
- Take actions to solve and celebrate guest feedback
- Regularly observe the team and operations from the guest perspective and celebrate or coach accordingly
- Serve as the local representative of Krystal to the community and grow sales by sponsoring local marketing or participating in events
- Build and leverage community relationships to drive business and maximize catering program opportunities
- Champion and implement company-wide promotions, product launches and product samplings
- Ensure the team executes and measures the impact of local promotions
- Develop and maintain Krystal 9 operating systems
- Develop sales forecast and create schedules to ensure Quality, Service and Cleanliness will be met
- Monitor business such as previous day numbers, schedules, cash shortage concerns, and HACCP Logs
- Review inventory efficiencies to create product orders
- Review inventory and evaluate food costs
- Control food and equipment inventory, conduct daily and weekly inventory counts and keep inventory records
- Create, communicate, implement and follow up on operations and financial action plans
- Analyze sales and labor results throughout and after each shift
- Maintain Brand operating standards for product procedures, cleanliness standards and service expectations
- Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety, cleanliness, security and fire policies, standards and regulations
- Identify problems, conduct high-level troubleshooting and seek repair support for restaurant equipment
