The role of General Manager at Wendy's is a key leadership position responsible for driving the success of the restaurant by ensuring every customer experience is exceptional. This role commands a salary range between $60,000 and $70,000 and is essential to maintaining Wendy's promise of high-quality food served in a fast, friendly, and clean environment. The General Manager works closely with the District Manager and leads the restaurant's daily operations, which include team management, coaching, and developing staff to achieve their maximum potential. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about customer service, team leadership, and operational excellence. Bilingual candidates are preferred, as they can better serve the diverse customer base and team members. The General Manager's responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, and orienting new team members, enforcing company standards and procedures, maintaining excellent customer satisfaction, managing inventory and cash, scheduling staff, and handling opening and closing duties. In fulfilling these tasks, the General Manager ensures food safety and quality standards are always met.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year restaurant management experience
  • ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • desire to learn and willingness to accept feedback
  • must have a great personality and desire to serve guests with an upbeat and engaging attitude
  • strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • mobility including bending, reaching, wiping, and carrying
  • must tolerate long periods of standing without a break

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year restaurant management experience
  • quick-service restaurant or fast-casual experience preferred but not required
  • ability to work independently and as a member of a team
