Job Requirements
- Must be able to communicate, read, and write the English language fluently and clearly
- Flexible availability and reliable transportation
- Position requires bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, repetitive motions, cognitive skills, lift up to 50 pounds, standing, and moving about the unit the entire workday
Job Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to read and write English fluently and clearly
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience a plus
- Positive attitude and ability to motivate team members
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Ability to follow standardized procedures and recipes
Job Duties
- Make fast, accurate, and consistent sandwiches
- Complies with all portion sizes, recipes, and all systems and procedures
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, windows, beverage stations, restrooms, etc.
- Strong customer service - greets customers, takes orders, operates cash registers, collects payments from customers, and makes changes
- Takes phone orders and completes delivery tickets
- Fills out systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity
- Always maintains professional appearance in compliance with the Jimmy John's dress code
- Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
