The role available is a Restaurant Manager position tasked with overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations. This full-time management role is essential to ensuring the location’s profitability by delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the quality of all food products. The Restaurant Manager will manage a team consisting of 3 Assistant Managers and approximately 25 to 30 additional employees, making leadership and team development critical components of the role. Responsibilities include staff hiring, training, evaluation, discipline, and termination which necessitate exemplary leadership skills. The manager will also be heavily involved in operational processes such as forecasting food consumption, supervising food preparation and service, ensuring inventory control, and handling cash and deposits with precision.

In this dynamic position, the Restaurant Manager must ensure that every shift runs smoothly and that all company systems and procedures are executed with 100% integrity. This includes performing daily food preparations, overseeing supply orders, conducting manager meetings, auditing operations and paperwork, and ensuring maintenance and upkeep of equipment. The role demands versatility as the manager frequently assists during peak customer hours by engaging directly with guests, taking orders, and supporting transaction processes. Physical stamina is important since the job requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasionally performing more strenuous activities such as stooping or climbing.

Candidates must possess strong communication skills in English and demonstrate proficiency in mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, fractions, and percentages. Computer skills are also necessary, especially familiarity with common software such as Microsoft Excel and Word. The Restaurant Manager must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required by business needs. Additional requirements include being at least 18 years old, holding a valid driver’s license, having reliable transportation, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in English language and basic mathematics
  • Familiarity with computer software such as Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to manage inventory and ordering processes
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in cash handling and reconciliations
  • Knowledge of food preparation and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Manage a staff of 3 assistant managers and 25-30 employees
  • Assign, oversee and evaluate work for compliance
  • Manage hiring, training, evaluating, discipline and termination of employees
  • Provide on the job training for new employees
  • Delegate and be responsible for ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all supplies to minimize loss
  • Assist in supervision, preparation, sales and service of food
  • Forecast food items by estimating consumption per shift
  • Supervise food preparation and service operations while on duty
  • Assist shoppers during rush periods to maintain restaurant efficiency
  • Greet customers, take orders, use cash register, assemble and check orders
  • Ensure every customer receives world class customer service
  • Route deliveries and supervise drivers to maximize delivery business and speed
  • Complete daily food preparations including opening procedures, slicing, and bread production
  • Execute systems and procedures with 100 percent integrity and completeness
  • Complete daily, weekly and period paperwork accurately
  • Control inventory using weekly inventory system and maintain ordering schedules
  • Conduct weekly manager meetings
  • Audit system and procedures as well as shift ending paperwork
  • Complete preventative maintenance and upkeep on store’s equipment and supplies
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Responsible for 100 percent of the cash drawers during the shift
  • Manage deposits and change orders per deposit operating procedure
