Currently, Sodexo is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager 4 to lead its food service operations at the prestigious MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital located in Washington DC. MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital is the region's largest acute rehabilitation facility with 132 inpatient beds. The hospital is renowned for treating complex cases thanks to its partnership with Georgetown University School of Medicine, highly specialized physicians, and utilization of advanced technology to deliver exceptional patient care.

The General Manager 4 role at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital focuses on overseeing all food service operations to ensure the highest standards in quality, safety, employee and patient satisfaction, and financial performance. This full-time leadership position involves managing day-to-day food service activities, leading a team to meet productivity targets, ensuring compliance with industry and company standards, and fostering positive relationships with both clients and customers.

This role demands strong leadership skills, strategic planning capabilities, and a customer service-oriented approach. The successful candidate will have comprehensive experience in culinary production, safety and sanitation compliance, and hands-on management of food service labor and operations. Proficiency in Sodexo’s Food Management Systems and Market Connections tools is also essential to effectively manage reporting and operational requirements.
