The role of General Manager 4 - Food, based in South San Francisco, CA, is a critical leadership position within the SodexoMAGIC portfolio. This role manages a vibrant, multi-unit corporate dining operation encompassing café and catering services. The General Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience marked by culinary quality, outstanding hospitality, and continuous innovation. This position is part of a Global Strategic Account, requiring adherence to elevated standards and alignment with worldwide expectations to ensure a seamless, world-class dining service.

As the leader of these corporate dining venues, the General Manager drives financial success through budgeting, forecasting, and strategic operational planning. This leader also fosters strong client relationships by proactively communicating and anticipating client needs, thereby exceeding service expectations. Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience
  • Minimum 5 years of functional experience in corporate dining or hospitality operations

Job Duties

  • Inspire, develop, and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and strategic operational planning
  • Ensure full compliance with Sodexo standards, food safety regulations, and all operational policies across the entire dining program
  • Champion innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance menus, service models, and overall program quality in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
