The position of General Manager 4 for the Silver Spring, MD location represents a critical leadership role within Sodexo Government's food operations. This role is primarily responsible for overseeing the entirety of retail food service operations, ensuring both food quality and exceptional customer service are consistently delivered. The General Manager is expected to demonstrate a passion for the hospitality industry, be highly motivated, and have a strong ability to interact positively with both clients and customers. Leadership is a core component of this role, requiring supervision of on-site food service staff alongside the responsibility to meet and exceed requirements outlined in the contractual agreement with clients.
In this position, the General Manager will have oversight of daily dining operations, ensuring smooth workflows and adherence to Sodexo’s established systems and standards.
