This job opportunity is with a restaurant independently owned and operated by a McDonald's franchisee who holds a license to use McDonald's logos, food products, and branding. The franchisee operates completely separately from McDonald's USA, serving as a distinct company and employer. Employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are managed by the franchisee alone, meaning any application submitted is reviewed solely by the franchisee and McDonald's USA does not influence or participate in hiring decisions. Job Requirements
- Be 18 years or older
- Previous general manager experience running high volume locations
- Experience in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail preferred
- Strong leadership abilities
- Ability to analyze and act on sales data
- Skilled in staff hiring, retention, and development
- Knowledge of health department standards and regulatory compliance
- Competence in conducting financial and security audits
- Ability to manage inventory and vendor relationships
- Willingness to maintain up-to-date knowledge through training sessions
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- Previous general manager experience running high volume locations
- Background in quick service restaurants strongly desired or experience in hospitality or retail

- Ability to analyze sales trends and implement growth strategies
- Experience managing staff recruitment, retention, and development

Job Duties
- Work with staff to ensure optimum sales and profitability
- Coach and help staff to achieve the highest levels of quality, service, and cleanliness by ensuring all staff are knowledgeable in their roles and responsibilities
- Interview, hire, and retain staff while developing successful managers
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with staff, adhering to all McDonald's people practices, maintaining crew staffing levels, reducing turnover, and creating a fun atmosphere in the restaurant
- Analyze sales trends, identify sales patterns and opportunities for sales growth, and implement programs to capitalize on additional sales opportunities
- Conduct performance reviews every year for managers and crew members
- Complete monthly cash and security audits to ensure safety and security of restaurant personnel and assets
- Introduce new products, procedures, and equipment while implementing basic programs and systems of the business
- Manage vendor relationships
- Complete mid-month and end-of-month inventory
- Meet annual, quarterly, and monthly profit objectives as established by the Director of Operations
- Prepare management schedules including plans for activities such as deliveries, order completion, training, meetings, and staffing
- Maintain health department standards
- Attend required managers meetings and training webinars
- Stay up to date on all training materials and courses
- Prepare the restaurant for visits from Health Department and McDonald's corporation
- Ensure compliance with all state and national government rules and regulations
- Complete 30/90 day check-ins with new hire staff
