This job posting is for a General Manager position at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee who holds the license to use McDonald's logos and food products. It is important to note that this franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald's USA, and McDonald's USA has no involvement in employment decisions related to this position. The franchisee itself is responsible for all employment matters including hiring, firing, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. The General Manager plays a critical role in running a profitable restaurant and maintaining the high standards McDonald's upholds for its customers. The position requires strong leadership skills, as the manager will lead a team of Department Managers, guiding each to achieve department and restaurant-wide goals. The General Manager works closely with their leader to establish goals for the business and then formulates and implements strategies to meet these goals effectively. Success in this position means creating an environment where team members are motivated, coached, and held accountable. The role also involves hiring and developing a management team capable of sustaining long-term profitable operations.
Ideal candidates will have proven experience managing high-volume restaurant locations, preferably in quick service restaurants, hospitality, or retail sectors. - previous General Manager experience in fast-paced, high-volume environments
