Job Description

Ice Age Management, Inc. is an independent franchisee that owns and operates McDonald's restaurants under a licensed agreement with McDonald's USA. As a franchisee, Ice Age Management runs its restaurants using McDonald's brand, logos, and food products, but operates as a separate company. This independent ownership means that all employment matters—from hiring and firing to scheduling and disciplinary actions—are managed exclusively by Ice Age Management. McDonald's USA, while providing the brand framework and operational standards, does not participate in the employment process nor holds responsibility for individual restaurant management decisions.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous General Manager experience in quick service restaurants
  • Open availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Reliable transportation to the workplace
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple departments
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to maintaining McDonald's quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a General Manager in a high-volume quick service restaurant
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to set and meet goals effectively
  • Excellent communication and coaching abilities
  • Experience in hiring, training, and developing staff
  • Familiarity with customer service standards in the food industry
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment

Job Duties

  • Run a profitable restaurant ensuring high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • Collaborate with leadership to set restaurant goals and develop plans to achieve them
  • Lead and manage a team of Department Managers by setting goals, coaching, and providing direction
  • Monitor progress and performance of departments to drive improvements
  • Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build an effective leadership team
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
