As a franchisee, Ice Age Management runs its restaurants using McDonald's brand, logos, and food products, but operates as a separate company. This independent ownership means that all employment matters—from hiring and firing to scheduling and disciplinary actions—are managed exclusively by Ice Age Management. McDonald's USA, while providing the brand framework and operational standards, does not participate in the employment process nor holds responsibility for individual restaurant management decisions.

The General Manager position at Ice Age Management is a key leadership role responsible for running a high-volume McDonald's restaurant profitably while ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are consistently met. This role requires a dynamic and results-driven leader who can set and achieve ambitious restaurant goals in collaboration with their own leaders and a team of Department Managers. The General Manager not only oversees daily restaurant operations but also mentors and coaches management staff to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction.
In this role, the General Manager leads multiple departments, helping each Department Manager set clear targets and providing the support and direction needed to reach those objectives. Hiring, developing, and retaining top talent within the management team are crucial responsibilities for sustaining the restaurant's success. Previous experience managing high-volume quick service restaurants is highly desirable as the General Manager must thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous General Manager experience in quick service restaurants
- Open availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Reliable transportation to the workplace
- Ability to lead and manage multiple departments
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to maintaining McDonald's quality standards

- Previous experience as a General Manager in a high-volume quick service restaurant

Job Duties
- Run a profitable restaurant ensuring high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- Collaborate with leadership to set restaurant goals and develop plans to achieve them
- Lead and manage a team of Department Managers by setting goals, coaching, and providing direction
- Monitor progress and performance of departments to drive improvements
- Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers to build an effective leadership team
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to maintain customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
