This position demands visible, hands-on leadership across all hotel departments, cultivating a culture of accountability, professionalism, and service excellence. Key responsibilities include driving revenue growth and profitability by collaborating closely with Sales and Revenue Management teams to develop effective pricing strategies, manage group bookings, and optimize revenue plans. Financial stewardship is critical, as the General Manager develops, oversees, and monitors the hotel’s annual operating budget, prepares financial forecasts, and manages profit and loss performance to maintain fiscal discipline and cost control.

This leader also conducts frequent property walkthroughs and quality inspections to uphold luxury-level standards throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Compliance with all brand standards, corporate policies, and local, state, and federal regulations is a must. The position requires proactivity in responding to guest feedback, leading service recovery efforts, and driving enhancements in guest satisfaction metrics.

Operational responsibilities extend to the oversight of capital expenditures, vendor relations, and purchasing processes, ensuring appropriate bidding, approvals, and financial accuracy. The General Manager also acts as a key representative of The Rose Hotel in community relations, business associations, and public relations initiatives. Flexibility is essential, as the role demands 24/7 operational oversight with the willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary to meet the needs of the business.

This position offers competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision coverage, and a 401(k) with company matching.
