Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation management or related field preferred
  • minimum 5 years of experience in general aviation or FBO management
  • proven leadership experience
  • strong knowledge of aviation safety regulations
  • ability to manage budgeting and financial reporting
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • valid driver's license required
  • ability to work onsite as role is in person
  • proficiency in contract negotiation and legal review
  • experience with community engagement and business development

  • relationship management with Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and Fortune 500 clients
  • full profit and loss accountability including budgeting, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and monthly variance reporting
  • knowledge of legal and contract review
  • human resources experience focused on team welfare and benefits
  • business development skills including customer profit analysis, competitive analysis, sales planning, and community relations
  • comprehensive understanding of private aviation mindset
  • knowledge of FAR Parts 121, 135, 141, and 145 and IATA standards for fuel operations
  • strategic thinker with articulate writing and communication skills
  • commitment to continuous learning through formal education and certification programs

Job Duties

  • Hire and develop the right talent
  • ensure self-accountability and responsibility
  • maintain customer-centric approach
  • prioritize safety in all aviation operations
  • manage sales and marketing activities including tenant contracts and leases
  • oversee competitive pricing of facilities, fuel, and ancillary services
  • conduct local marketing for tenants and transient customers
  • manage contract fuel and partnerships for services
  • supervise maintenance, repair, and management of ramp, hangars, FBO and tenant offices, and fuel farm
  • build community and airport relations including involvement with chamber of commerce and aviation clubs
  • oversee ground support equipment and annual budgets with regular reporting
