Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aviation management or related field preferred
- minimum 5 years of experience in general aviation or FBO management
- proven leadership experience
- strong knowledge of aviation safety regulations
- ability to manage budgeting and financial reporting
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- valid driver's license required
- ability to work onsite as role is in person
- proficiency in contract negotiation and legal review
- experience with community engagement and business development

- relationship management with Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and Fortune 500 clients
- full profit and loss accountability including budgeting, payroll, accounts receivable and payable, and monthly variance reporting
- knowledge of legal and contract review
- human resources experience focused on team welfare and benefits
- business development skills including customer profit analysis, competitive analysis, sales planning, and community relations
- comprehensive understanding of private aviation mindset
- knowledge of FAR Parts 121, 135, 141, and 145 and IATA standards for fuel operations
- strategic thinker with articulate writing and communication skills
- commitment to continuous learning through formal education and certification programs
Job Duties
- Hire and develop the right talent
- ensure self-accountability and responsibility
- maintain customer-centric approach
- prioritize safety in all aviation operations
- manage sales and marketing activities including tenant contracts and leases
- oversee competitive pricing of facilities, fuel, and ancillary services
- conduct local marketing for tenants and transient customers
- manage contract fuel and partnerships for services
- supervise maintenance, repair, and management of ramp, hangars, FBO and tenant offices, and fuel farm
- build community and airport relations including involvement with chamber of commerce and aviation clubs
- oversee ground support equipment and annual budgets with regular reporting
