Job Description
Taco Bell is a renowned global fast-food restaurant chain known for its innovative Mexican-inspired menu and vibrant brand culture. With a commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and community engagement, Taco Bell continues to lead the quick-service industry by delivering legendary dining experiences that are both accessible and enjoyable. The company prides itself on fostering a work environment that cultivates personal growth, leadership development, and operational excellence. Taco Bell’s franchised locations benefit from a combination of corporate support and entrepreneurial spirit, empowering local managers to build strong teams and run highly successful businesses.
The Restaurant General Manager role at Taco Bell is a dynamic leadership position that demands passion, drive, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. This full-time role requires dedication to leading teams, managing operational success, and creating exceptional customer experiences within a fast-paced environment. Working approximately 50 hours per week, the General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day success of the restaurant, including overseeing financial performance, compliance, service quality, employee development, and community engagement.
As a General Manager, you will inspire and lead your team by fostering a positive, inclusive culture that emphasizes growth, teamwork, and shared success. Your leadership will ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining high standards of food quality, customer service, and safety. You will be the driving force behind talent recruitment, training, and retention, building a motivated and engaged workforce ready to deliver the brand promise. Detailed attention to scheduling, maintenance, local marketing, and operational procedures will be critical to your success in this role.
Taco Bell supports its managers with competitive compensation including a performance bonus paid every four weeks based on restaurant success, comprehensive healthcare benefits covering medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and their families, and a strong emphasis on work-life balance with four weeks of paid time off starting from day one. Additional benefits such as free meals, 401(k) plan with company match, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, scholarships, leadership training programs, subsidized gym membership, exclusive Taco Perks discounts, and access to an Employee Assistance Program further enhance the value proposition of joining the Taco Bell family.
Joining as a Restaurant General Manager means stepping into a role where you can grow with a well-established brand that values leadership, innovation, and community. Taco Bell offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact not only on your restaurant’s performance but also on the lives of your team members and customers. Whether you are advancing from an internal role or bringing leadership experience from other hospitality or retail environments, Taco Bell is committed to providing the development, support, and recognition you need to thrive and succeed with passion and pride.
