Job Description

We are excited to offer a career opportunity for a Hotel General Manager to lead our team in maintaining and elevating the high standards for which StudioRes is known. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless operation of the hotel by providing leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on management. The position offers a salary range of $65,000 to $75,000, complemented by performance-based bonus opportunities. Additionally, the role provides flexible daily pay access, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, HSA, and 401k options for full-time employees.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You will have a passion for delivering outstanding guest service and strong operational expertise across all facets of hotel management. This role offers a unique chance to work closely with a dedicated team of 6-12 employees, fostering a collaborative and motivated workplace culture. Your ability to recruit, train, and develop staff will directly influence the guest experience and operational outcomes.

Key responsibilities include maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest readiness, resolving guest concerns promptly, and managing reputation through effective review responses. You will be accountable for operational excellence, including budget management, labor control, and profitability to meet brand guidelines and company expectations. Your role also demands active participation in sales and marketing efforts through networking within the local community to drive occupancy and elevate the hotel’s visibility among competitive properties.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel management
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for long periods
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 20 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible and adaptable to cover employee shifts
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Commitment to providing excellent guest service

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a dedicated team of 6-12 staff members
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to ensure the team achieves outstanding results
  • Ensure the hotel is always guest ready by maintaining high standards of cleanliness and addressing guest concerns
  • Manage and address guest reviews to maintain review standards
  • Follow brand guidelines and meet operational deadlines
  • Manage budgets, control labor, occupancy, and profit and loss (P&L) statements
  • Network within the local community to promote the hotel and build relationships with competitive properties, local organizations, and key clients
  • Lead in-house sales and marketing initiatives to increase occupancy
  • Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties as needed
  • Cover employee shifts to ensure operational continuity
  • Know and follow property emergency procedures to ensure property and guest security
  • Perform other duties as assigned
