The role of Restaurant Manager at Papa John's involves managing and assuming full responsibility for all functions of a restaurant to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and outstanding customer service. The manager will drive sales growth by executing local marketing initiatives and maintaining a strong presence in the community. They are responsible for managing labor, food costs, and other expenses to stay within budget using the company’s PROFIT system, ensuring financial targets are met. Additionally, they will manage administrative duties such as cash handling, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong critical thinking skills, exhibit flexibility, demonstrate initiative, and excel in leading and developing a customer-focused team. The Restaurant Manager is expected to guide their team with clear directions, handle multiple projects efficiently, and maintain a results-driven approach to contribute to the restaurant's profitability and the brand's overall success. Applicants should have at least two years of restaurant management experience or equivalent supervisory experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to delivering excellent service. This is a salaried exempt position with responsibilities that require working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, often with minimal supervision. Bilingual skills and the ability to operate various communication devices may be required in certain markets.
