As a General Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a motivated team that delivers remarkable guest experiences. This role combines operational expertise with a focus on people development, culture building, and financial management — including schedule creation, P&L control, sales forecasting, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. You will also be tasked with maintaining an inviting restaurant environment, driving sales through community engagement and marketing initiatives, and managing overall business success. The position demands hands-on leadership across all hours of operation including lunch, dinner, and weekends. Physical stamina is essential to navigate the fast-paced kitchen environment and perform operational duties such as lifting and communicating with team members and guests.

Job Requirements

  • Previous restaurant management experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, lunch and dinner shifts
  • Capacity to stand and walk for up to 10 hours a day
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant management experience including scheduling, P&L management, food safety, sales forecasting, and recruiting
  • Strong hospitality and guest service focus
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Ability to creatively market and drive sales through fundraisers and community engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial and operational responsibilities
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Passion for cultivating a positive work culture

Job Duties

  • Be guest obsessed and uphold top-notch standards of excellence and hospitality
  • Ensure speed of service, accuracy, and positive guest experience
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, hiring, people processes, and performance management
  • Train and develop crew members, shift leaders, and apprentices using Chipotle's training tools
  • Direct team members to deliver accurate and on-time digital orders
  • Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations including schedule management, P&L control, sales forecasting, and recruiting
  • Maintain the dining room and ensure the restaurant is guest-ready
  • Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards
  • Achieve annual sales and cash flow goals
  • Work a schedule that includes lunch, dinner, and weekend shifts providing leadership during all hours of operation
