Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
- minimum 3 years of hotel management experience
- strong leadership and people management skills
- proven financial acumen including budgeting and forecasting
- excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities
- ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- capability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- ability to handle office equipment and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of hotel management experience
- experience with Hilton, IHG, or Marriott brands is a plus
- proven ability to motivate, train, and lead a hospitality team
- strong budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management skills
- passion for enhancing guest experiences and maintaining service standards
- ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve challenges
- strong community engagement skills
- willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepare annual capital, cash flow, and sales and marketing plans to forecast budgets and drive revenue
- utilize financial data to maximize profitability and return on investment
- leverage distribution channels and technology to enhance market share and revenue
- oversee capital plans and asset management initiatives
- develop team member engagement programs aligned with brand service behaviors
- implement and monitor succession planning
- set performance goals and provide mentoring and coaching
- oversee salary decisions and HR processes
- lead by example and demonstrate company core values
- maintain compliance with brand standards and license agreements
- drive improvement in guest satisfaction scores
- engage with guests and solicit feedback
- ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and team members
- act as a public relations representative
- drive environmentally conscious initiatives
- maintain a safe working environment
- lead recycling and sustainability efforts
