The role of General Manager at Transdev in Modesto, CA is a pivotal leadership position responsible for managing all aspects of transportation contract services. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of relevant management experience in paratransit and fixed-route services
- Experience with collective bargaining agreements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and financial performance
- Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts
- Must pass drug screen and background check
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without restrictions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- 3-5 years of recent and relevant direct experience managing all aspects of paratransit and fixed-route service
- Prior experience working with a collective bargaining agreement
- Computer literate with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Evidence of building solid relationships with supervisors peers and subordinates
- Excellent communication skills
- Successful track record in managing budgets and/or P&L responsibility
- Ability to effectively and appropriately communicate and/or collaborate with agencies directors elected officials operators and all levels of hourly and salaried employees including senior management
- Must be a self-starter able to obtain successful results without supervision
Job Duties
- Handle all contractual services including operations administrative functions and information systems and provide oversight of safety training and maintenance departments
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures and policies
