Job Description

As a General Manager within Checkers & Rally's Corporate Field Operations team, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of individual restaurant locations while supporting overall company goals. This role is responsible for executing the restaurant’s business plan by achieving sales and profit targets, managing restaurant operations efficiently, and ensuring an outstanding guest and team member experience. You will not only be tasked with managing the financial aspects such as the profit and loss (P&L) statement but also leading your team through effective training, coaching, and operational oversight. Your leadership will ensure that each restaurant is the first choice for guests and employees, providing a safe, clean, and enjoyable atmosphere.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Food safety certification preferred
  • Over 2 years restaurant management experience
  • Basic math skills
  • Microsoft Office and general systems experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule and extended hours
  • High energy to keep up with fast paced environment

Job Duties

  • Meeting budgeted sales and profits by managing all aspects of the P&L
  • Continually analyzing data to develop and execute plans to improve sales and profits
  • Determining staffing needs and hiring the right candidates
  • Ensuring shifts are properly staffed for consistent operations and guest satisfaction
  • Training team members and managers on operations, policies, procedures, and guest service
  • Identifying and responding to complaints and policy violations
  • Providing regular feedback and coaching to employees on performance
  • Ensuring the restaurant is a safe, clean, and fun environment for employees and guests
