Job Requirements

  • Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in luxury or high-end hotels
  • Proven experience managing both rooms and food and beverage departments
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations including marketing plans, security programs, labor relations, and budgeting
  • Ability to stand and move throughout hotel property and perform essential functions with or without accommodation
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for corporate meetings and sales trips
  • Ability to participate actively in community affairs and hotel events

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in luxury or high-end hotel operations
  • Proven experience in rooms and food and beverage management
  • Knowledge of hotel operations including marketing, security, personnel and labor relations, budgeting, quality assurance, hospitality law, and long-range planning
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt communication style to various audiences

Job Duties

  • Create and maintain a customer-driven hotel with a customer-keeping vision that inspires hotel associates
  • Oversee the quality process to ensure customer satisfaction through consistent product quality and service
  • Tour and visually inspect property daily to monitor condition, cleanliness, cost control, and quality
  • Travel to attend corporate meetings, sales trips, and serve on committees
  • Aid Human Resources with associate issues, including interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
  • Participate in community affairs to maintain positive public image
  • Engage actively in sales and revenue management functions including SOP adherence, group site inspections, and performance reviews
  • Guide executive committee and management to make sound business decisions
  • Create and execute financial objectives
  • Comply with attendance rules and perform other job-related duties as assigned
