This job opportunity is with a franchisee of Scooter's Coffee, meaning that if hired, your direct employer will be the franchise owner. Franchisees operate independently and have the flexibility to set their own terms of employment, including wages and benefits, which can vary. You will be managing Scooter's Coffee's newest drive-thru only store, a unique and exciting challenge that requires dynamic leadership and a committed focus on creating a strong store culture. As a leader, you will draw upon the brand's core values—integrity, love, humility, and courage—to develop a positive working environment. Prior knowledge of coffee is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you can lead effectively and confidently.
The role is a full-time position with 40-45 hours per week. The base salary ranges from $48,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on your experience. Additional benefits include a competitive bonus program, paid time off, health insurance, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for career advancement as many new locations are under development.
This position demands strong managerial capabilities such as hiring, training, and developing both baristas and the management team. You'll be expected to employ a management style that actively engages and inspires your team while ensuring superior customer experiences. Ensuring quality and consistency in the execution of recipes and techniques is critical, as well as maintaining Scooter's renowned "Amazing" customer service standard.
In addition to day-to-day operational responsibilities, you will collaborate with senior management to enhance both team member and guest experiences continually. Building sales through meaningful relationships with guests and the surrounding community is a key part of the role, along with meticulous expense control to budget metrics. Record keeping and reporting form part of the administrative duties, alongside ensuring impeccable store appearance, cleanliness, food safety, and equipment maintenance.
Cash handling, point of sale system accuracy, safety procedures, and overall operational standards rest under your final accountability. Training for this role will be provided in Brighton, MI, for four to six weeks, with accommodations provided. This role is suited for those who love fast-paced, flexible work environments and possess exceptional problem-solving, multitasking, and administrative skills.
