The General Manager role at VASA Fitness is a key leadership position within the Operations department and directly reports to the District Manager. This is a salaried, exempt position offering a competitive salary range from $60,000 to $71,000 annually, plus opportunities for bonuses based on performance. This role is ideal for professionals who are engaging, upbeat, diligent, and highly organized, with a strong ability to drive their club towards operational and financial success.

In this pivotal role, the General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of club operations and sales. They will build and lead a dedicated team of results-driven, culture-focused club leads to ensure the club achieves its goals daily. The General Manager will wake each day with a clean slate and the opportunity to deliver winning results by promoting a culture that embodies the 'House of VASA' approach. This includes managing financial performance, employee turnover, member retention, and various club operational metrics like labor control and revenue growth.

Accountability is central to this role, as the General Manager must coach, motivate, and develop club leadership (including MEL, PTL, GFSTL, and CCTL roles) to uphold company standards and meet financial objectives. Critical responsibilities also include hiring, performance management, facility oversight, enforcing corporate policies, and maintaining a clean, welcoming club environment while driving a positive member and team experience.

The successful General Manager must excel in managing people and resources, developing business plans, conducting performance reviews, and executing sales and marketing promotions. Leadership abilities, coaching skills, and the capacity to manage change within a high-energy fitness environment are essential. This role involves working collaboratively with district support teams and corporate departments such as HR, Safety, Loss Prevention, Payroll, Accounting, and IT to support company initiatives.

Job Requirements
