As a General Manager (GM) at Ulta Beauty, you will have the unique opportunity to lead and inspire a high-performing team, driving top-line sales growth and operational excellence in one of Ulta's retail stores, including the salon. This position is full-time and offers a competitive salary range between $76,960 and $104,000 annually, with potential for additional compensation through the company’s bonus plan. Job Requirements

  • Work a flexible, full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Available to close the store at least once per week
  • Attend corporate meetings and conferences with possible overnight and interstate travel
  • Maintain valid identification for airline travel
  • Frequent use of computers and related office supplies
  • Continuous mobility with frequent bending, pushing, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Continuous walking and manipulation of objects during shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5+ years of fast-paced retail management or relevant experience
  • Proven success in financial management including driving sales and managing budgets
  • Demonstrated retail management skills including inventory, service culture, and merchandising
  • Strong leadership experience with talent development and team motivation
  • Proficient with Point of Sale systems, Microsoft Office, and Apple devices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to react under pressure and adapt to change

Job Duties

  • Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed sales, guest loyalty, payroll, omni-channel, and retail shrink goals
  • Drive company profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control
  • Leverage store forecast and payroll budgets to support scheduling needs
  • Address issues from financial and operational reporting to achieve store goals
  • Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations
  • Stay informed regarding industry trends and products
  • Maintain prompt attendance and hold associates accountable
